Castillejo: "We have to keep working to show that we want to be at the top"

Samu Castillejo assessed the 1-0 loss to Athletic Club in conversation with VCF Media. The winger highlighted the good play by the team and appealed to the fans to come out in force for the next LaLiga match at Mestalla.
Missed chances
When the ball doesn't want to go in, it's difficult to score. I had a couple of chances and so did Marcos at the end. We are proud of the showing by the team. We had the ball and showed a lot of personality. The only negative is the result.
Continuing to work
It's clear that this was not a game that we shouldn't have taken points from, because of the way that we played and the chances we had. Three points got away from us and we have to continue working to show that we want to be at the top.
On the right track
We are on the right track. Despite the result, we must take away the positive things that the team did.
Mestalla
We really need our fans. When Mestalla roars it is very difficult for visiting teams to play there. We have to take advantage of this when we play at home. When it is rocking, Mestalla is an incredible stadium.
